ABOUT US MTB Marine is the trading arm of the MTB102 Trust. The Trust was formed in 1996 to repair, maintain and operate MTB 102, the last operational short torpedo boat. It has now formed MTB Marine to generate an income to assist in the aims of the Trust. LOCATION MTB Marine operates the yard and pontoons at the old Newsons Yard, Sea Lake Road, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft. The facilities consist of a 33 berth marina, 14ton submersible travel hoist, hard standing and access to a 70ton, 70ft cradle and slip. FACILITIES Most of the marina berths are availble 24 hours and are at the head of the tide so do not have tide problems when berthing. We have berths up to 70ft length and 6ft draught. There is a modern amenities block available for berth holders. LOCALITY The yard is very close to the main street in Oulton Broad with a multitude of fast food takeaways, several pubs/restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Train stations are close by with direct links to Lowestoft, Norwich and Ipswich. CONTACT M.D.
